Working from Home Adaptations
We are all trying our best to figure out this new work/school/parent/relationship/life situation that we find ourselves in! It isn’t easy, it is SO hard. Please know that we hear you, we see you, and we are here to support and help you in any way that we can! As I (Libby) have suddenly become a work from home mom, I have attempted to set up some systems and helpful routines for our kids in order to have some semblance of normalcy. And just so everyone is aware and realizes that these changes and transition are bound to come with some emotional mood swings and temper tantrums (from both parents and kids alike), I want you to know that we are having varying levels of success depending on the day! Working from home has been an interesting challenge, as I am sure many of you can relate to! I have also been putting a sign on my bedroom door, only when I am in sessions with clients, that lets my kids know when they are allowed to come in and when they are not.
