EMDR & Somatic Therapy for Entrepreneurs and High-Achieving Women in Fort Worth

Pressure, perfectionism, and overthinking don’t have to run the show.

Counseling for women who are ready to feel more steady, more present, and less driven by the pressure to hold it all together.

Julie Ayala Chahal, LPC and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, offering EMDR and somatic therapy in Fort Worth, Texas.

You’ve built a full life. You’re capable, responsible, and probably used to being the one who figures things out.

But pressure, overthinking, people-pleasing, or old relationship patterns can start to take up more space than you want them to.

I work with high-achieving women and entrepreneurs who are ready for therapy that goes deeper than insight, understanding and coping. Through EMDR and Somatic therapy, we work with the brain, body, and nervous system so you can change at the deepest level rather than creating coping methods.

Over time, this can create more steadiness, clearer decisions, and more room to feel like yourself again.

My work often supports ambitious women and entrepreneurs navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges,

How This Work Is Different

We do not stop at insight, understanding or coping. You can know why a pattern exists and still stay stuck in it.

1. Identify what you’re ready to change

We focus on what’s currently showing up — stress, overthinking, relationship patterns — and bring it into awareness in a direct, focused way.

2. Work at the level where it was formed

I use a unique individually tailored blend of EMDR and Somatic Experiencing, where we we work with the brain, body, and nervous system to help the pattern were originally created.

3. Change begins to happen naturally

The integration happens inside the session, so new responses can begin to feel more natural outside of it. As the pattern shifts, the pressure to force change isn’t there. What you’ve been trying to change starts to move more easily on its own.

Session Length

Sessions are structured in 90-minute formats to allow for deeper, more focused work and more lasting change over time.

Meet Julie Ayala Chahal, LPC, SEP

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner in Fort Worth, Texas.

I work with high-achieving women who are used to holding a lot in their work, relationships, families, and within themselves.

I know this pattern from the inside, too. I’ve done my own work around tying identity to success, looking for safety in achievement, and learning to trust myself more deeply.

My work is not about giving you another way to manage it all or teaching you how to push through. You are probably already pretty good at that.

Instead, I help you pay attention to what your life is reflecting back to you. The pressure that keeps building. The relationship pattern that keeps repeating. The anxiety that shows up when things slow down. The friction you feel when you are trying to grow, rest, speak up, or let yourself be seen.

These places are often not random. They are showing us what is ready to grow and change.

If this resonates, I’m glad you’re here.
